New Starting Time for Opening!!!

Opening starts at 11 instead of 11.30!!!

Because of a potential clash with the next event in the Meerscheinschlössl, we felt we should start the conference 30 minutes earlier than originally planned. We've also moved the A panels up 30 minutes, which will leave a 1-hr break between panels A and B. Sorry for the late notification.

Airport 
There are three options when coming in via plane: Graz Int'l (5 miles outside of the city limits), Vienna Int'l (120 miles), and Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (130 miles).…

Currency 
Austria is part of the Euro zone. It's not necessarily a credit card-friendly country--and if, only credit cards with PINs work. Maestro preferred.
Health and Water 
The water in Graz is a bit on the hard side, but it's perfectly fine to drink it. We're tick heaven, but that shouldn't be a problem in December ;)…
Weather 
Don't expect much precipitation in December. Temperatures are impossible to predict--last year, we had -10C/14F in the first week of Dec, but +15C/60F the following week.
Languages 
Styrians are known to bark rather than talk :) If they use something akin to human language, it's close to German. English should be fine, but don't expect everyone to understand…
Electricity 
We have Type C and F plugs; 230 V at 50 Hz.

 
